OVERVIEW
Redemption City Church is a church that provides “Hope for the Hungry” in Franklin, TN, that has seen Sunday worship attendance grow from about 90 people to 415 people since it launched in 2013. This growth has created a growing need for comprehensive theological, pastoral, and organizational leadership of ministry staff to ensure the vision is clear and being carried out in all areas of ministry.
ROLE SUMMARY
The XP is responsible for the health of all Redemption City Church Ministries. This person will work “up” alongside the Lead Pastor to shape the church wide vision, strategy, and goals and will work “down” with all ministry staff to ensure they are carried out. This person will be responsible for all aspects of overseeing ministry staff – from the hiring, firing, and organization of personnel, to day-to-day management, the creation or elimination of ministries and systems, to development of ministry-specific vision and ministry-specific goals and lead measures. Further, the XP will own the Leadership Pipeline of Redemption City Church to raise up and deploy aligned leadership throughout the body. They must combine a theologically-integrated, pastoral vision for ministry with a pragmatic, results-oriented leadership style while possessing an unyielding love for Jesus and the church.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Fulfill the membership requirements of Redemption City Church
- Fulfill the character qualities of an elder as outlined in Scripture
- Ability to see and articulate the vision of Redemption City Church while executing the tasks to fulfill it
- A proven track record in high level, organizational church leadership
- Excellence in staffing and personnel oversight
- A rigorous, like-minded theological background and vision for ministry
- Ability to see and articulate the leadership behaviors of Redemption City Church while embodying them to protect our culture
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Solution-oriented problem solver who is a fast learner and hard worker
- Proven ability to think ahead and know how to get there, proactive problem solver
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work along the Lead Pastor and leadership team to set clear church-wide vision, strategy, and goals
- Creation or elimination of ministries or ministry systems for the accomplishment of the vision
- Development of ministry-specific vision, strategy, and goals for all ministries
- Develop systems for recruiting, hiring process, and on-boarding and oversight of all Redemption City staff
- Oversee all hiring processes for ministry staff
- Development and expansion of the Redemption City Leadership Pipeline to produce aligned leadership for their ministries
- Set metrics and track the most important things in each ministry area and on the church level as a whole
- Set the culture of our team through development, team morale, and applying culture in every area of the church
- Oversee Leadership Development (develop systems, Residents)
- Oversee HR policies and procedures (transfers, exit interviews, etc)
- Build and execute a People Operations budget
