How To Make The Most of Holy Week
The week before Easter is upon us. Our country and our worship gatherings look very different than they usually do. Instead of focusing on what we can’t do, we thought Christ would be more honored this week if we focus on the things we can do. We believe Christ wants us to advance his cause through this crisis. We believe that Jesus is alive and he wants to change lives this week!
While we won’t be able to gather in person Easter weekend, we thought we could make the most of the week by there are still lots of things we are doing at Redemption City to join in together in remembering what Christ has done.

1. Listen To Our Short Daily Devotionals
Each day on our blog and social media channels, we will be sending out daily devotionals to encourage you and your family in the midst of this season.
We hope these will serve as reminders of the sacrifice and victory of Jesus and the life we can have in His name.
Satan would love to use this time to distract us from the beauty of the gospel. Decide now to fight against his schemes and use these daily devotionals as a resource to help you.

2. Post a 60 Second Testimony Video #JesusChangedMyLife @Redemption_City
Rather than each of us inviting one person to an Easter service this week (as we would traditionally encourage you to do), what if you used your online platform to proclaim the gospel to all of those who follow you?
Every one of us has a unique story to tell. One no one else can tell. Yet the hero in all those stories is the same — Jesus!
Here’s the goal: Take 60 seconds to explain your story of how Jesus has changed your life. Then use the #JesusChangedMyLife @Redemption_City so that we can help you spread the great news!
Here is an example outline:
Growing Up…
My life was…
Then I heard…
Now…

3. Join our Virtual Easter Egg Hunt
On Saturday, April 11th at 12:30pm, we want to invite you and your family to join us for a Virtual Easter egg hunt. It is going to be a fun time for us to come together as a community in a social distancing way!
It will be a time of being silly, creative, and walking through the life of Christ in fun new way! You will work together as a family to post a photo or video of a variety of clues and bonus tasks.
Here are a few things to help prepare for Saturday:
Download the GooseChase app.
Brainstorm and Create your Family Team Name.
Check email and social media throughout the week.
Help us spread the word! Invite your friends and neighbors!

4. Show Love to Your Community
Every need is an opportunity for us to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world. That's why, as a church family, we're responding to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) crisis, not by panicking or hiding out of fear, but by serving the people who are most vulnerable. We want to encourage you to reach out to your neighbors during this season. Use these cards to help us know how we can best help. If you get a card back, take a picture and send it to info@redemptioncity.com.
5. Watch the 10:00am Easter Worship Live Stream on Sunday #RCCATHOME
We know you can watch worship and message anytime during the week, but we’d encourage you to join us at 10:00am on Sunday morning. We’d love for you to take a pic of your time and use the #RCCATHOME. We’d love to hear from you. Our team is ready to engage with you. Hope to see you Sunday!
