Missions Opportunities This Week!

Every week there are opportunities for our church to continue providing physical and spiritual hunger relief in Middle Tennessee. One out of every seven people struggle with hunger in Tennessee and that number will probably increase due to the pandemic. There couldn't be a better time for us to be used to help those who are hungry!

HARVEST FOOD (Work at Our Farm)  - We’re going to be harvesting a 150 dozen green onions this upcoming Friday (May 29)! We'll be transporting the green onions to OneGenAway a local non-profit that we will be partnering with to distribute the food from our gardens! You can sign up to help us harvest the crops here! Or you can download our app here and sign up here (this will be more convenient for future sign up. Also you'll receive push notifications for new farm work opportunities). Lastly, you can subscribe to the Hope for the Hungry email listing to stay updated on what is taking place at the farm on a week-to-week basis!

DISTRIBUTE FOOD - You can help those who are in need of food by helping distribute food on Saturday (May 30) with the organization OneGenAway. They are an organization that works as a mobile food pantry for the hungry. You can find out more about OneGen Away here. Volunteers will help unload, organize, and distribute food from 8:00 am - 11:30 am (you can arrive anytime in-between) at Ashland City Elementary School, 108 Elizabeth St, TN 37015 United States - Map.  Volunteers should bring their own mask. OneGen will provide gloves. If you want to join Manny, let him know you're coming by contacting him at (615) 739.7140 . You can learn more about the opportunity here.

Hope you can join us in continuing to feed the hungry this week!
