If you want to learn more about the vision and mission of Redemption City Church and/or interested in pursuing church membership our DNA class is a great place to start. Our next Redemption City DNA class will be on April 19th from 4:00-5:30pm at the church office (133 Holiday Ct. Franklin, TN 37067). We’d love for you to join us! If you are coming, please let us know by signing up here.
We don’t want to see people attend Redemption City, we want people to belong. The primary place we foster deep relationships is through our Redemption Groups. On the week of March 22, after Spring Break, we will learn “How Faith Works” from the book of James. If you’re not connected to a Redemption Group we really encourage you to think about doing so! If you are interested in learning more about our group life, please email us at [email protected] If you are curious about where our groups are located, view a map of locations.
Student City will gather this Wednesday the 11th from 7:00-8:30pm. We are finishing up our series in Ephesians that night. The address is 413 Ridge View Ct. Franklin, TN 37067.
We will NOT meet next week during spring break.
Men, you can’t be the man God made you to be without a definition of manhood that comes from God’s word. Tomorrow we will learn what this definition is and how you can live it out! Join us tomorrow, Wednesday morning, March 11th at 7am at the church office (133 Holiday Ct. Franklin, TN 37067). We will have chicken biscuits and coffee. Please let us know you are coming by signing up here.
Ladies need other godly ladies to be all that God made them to be! That’s why on Tuesday, March 31st from 6:30-8:00pm we will have our first “Ladies Night” at 1109 Holly Hill Dr. Franklin, TN 37064! We will be meeting once a month for the next 3 months. Our own Trilia Newbell will be talking about one of the most pressing issues women face today: fear. This topic comes from the work she has done in her new book Fear and Faith, which releases April 1st. These nights will include time to hangout, teaching on this critical issue, and discussion. It will be a great night. Please help us get the word out and make every effort to be there! Let us know if you’re coming by signing up here.
Also we’d like to invite ladies to Trilia’s book release event Thursday, April 9, from 6:30-8:30pm at Grace Community Church; 5711 Granny White Pike; Brentwood, TN. This will be a panel discussion about fear and faith, living in a fallen world and following the One who is sovereign over all. It will include Trilia Newbell, Jani Ortlund, Kristie Anyabwile, Jen Wilkin, Catherine Parks, and Lindsay Swartz (moderator). This candid conversation on the fears women often struggle with and the trust found in the character of God will benefit any lady interested. If you’re interested, please register for FREE at http://erlc.com/fearandfaith.
LEARN ABOUT ADOPTION
RCC believes in adoption because we have been adopted into God’s family through Christ. That’s why we are grateful that an RCC family is hosting a simulcast of the Empowered to Connect Conference put on by Show Hope & Focus on the Family. This 2 day conference is designed for potential adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders and professionals who work with kids from hard places. It is designed to help attendees understand the trauma that children from hard places endure, how that effects them emotionally and cognitively and then teach ways to parent and lead these children to a place of healing. It is HIGHLY recommended for anyone considering adoption in the future. The event will be April 10-11th from 9:00am-5:00pmat 101 Heather Way Brentwood, TN 37027. The cost for this event is FREE! If you can only go to part of it, that is okay. Let us know if you’re coming by signing up here.
PRAY FOR HAITI TEAM GOING AND FAMILIES REMAINING HERE
Please be praying for our Haiti team as they go and families who will, no doubt, be under pressure from the Enemy here. The team leaves Friday, March 13, and returns Friday, March 20. Pray for safety, smooth traveling, health, energy and for God to prepare the hearts of the people they will be serving! Please consider reaching out to encourage the families that will be missing their loved ones here. Read up on more of what they’ll be doing and how you can support them here.
