God’s Word is central to God’s work. He created all things by his word (Gen. 1), sustains all things with his word (Heb. 1), and redeems his people through his word because work centers on the Word–Jesus Christ (Jn. 1). Because of this, the church has made the preaching and teaching of the Word a central component to the Christian life. We pray that the Spirit will use these resources to encourage and challenge you as he conforms you to the image of Christ (Rom. 8:29).
Listen to our weekly messages from lead pastor Jedidiah Coppenger and occasional sermons by other pastors and guest speakers. We believe that biblical teaching is best experienced in the context of community so please don’t use these recordings as a substitute for connecting your life with a local church.
2018 RCC Bible Reading Plan
Redemption City longs to be a people of the Word. In order to foster our 5 Core Loves and be continually transformed by the Gospel, we’ve created a day-to-day Bible Reading Plan for 2018! As we marinate in the New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs, let’s treasure God’s Word together and be open to the ways God has in store to mold us into the image of His Son.
Songs of Redemption City
Throughout the ages, the church has written and sung songs to Jesus. The reason for this is simple. The good news about what Jesus has done for us on the cross–the gospel–is such good news that it makes us want to sing. And the goodness of the news of gospel is such that it cannot be expressed in one song. So the church has written new songs that help us express with greater depth our freedom, fulfillment, and focus in Christ. These “Songs of Redemption City” are an expression of our love for Christ. We hope they encourage you as you think about all that Christ has done for you. Click the link at the sidebar to the left, or access the songs here.
