Christmas For Everyone
At Redemption City we love Christmas because we celebrate the greatest gift of all, the birth of our Savior. However, we know that Christmas is not a great time for everyone in Franklin. There are families here that don’t have the resources to have great a Christmas and we want to show the love of Christ to these fellow image-bearers by helping out. If you would like to help, here are 3 ways we are asking you to help us this Christmas. Please bring any of these to the worship gathering this Sunday.
- Help high-school students with cash or check
We are going to buy Christmas presents for students at a local high school that otherwise wouldn’t get anything. Your financial gifts will go directly towards buying their Christmas presents. The school will give us the age, gender, and list of ideas about what the student might like for Christmas. These will be anonymous gifts that they receive at the school from the school social worker.
- Help elementary school students with school supplies
A local elementary school has asked for donations of pencils, paper, and any other school supplies. There are children in schools in Franklin who do not have access to basic school supplies and we can help out.
- Help elementary school students with toys and clothes
Another local school is asking for new or gently used toys and elementary aged clothes for their students. Some children do not have toys to play with at home and also do not have proper clothing for the winter months. Please help us show the love of Christ to these kids.
Please bring your donations to our worship gathering this Sunday and put them in the box in the entrance. We are so grateful for the selflessness displayed often by the people who make up Redemption City Church. Thanks for helping us make this a great #ChristmasForEveryone.
