What They Are About: Franktown Open Hearts is a non-profit organization committed to the success of Franklin’s inner-city youth. They provide Christ-centered mentoring through weekly vocational education and experiences that prepare the underserved youth for the future.
Volunteer Opportunity: FrankTown Festival of Lights
Description: The FranTown Festival of Lights is an annual fundraising event for FrankTown Open Hearts organization. This event allows for the organization to financially support the great work they are doing with inner-city youth. They will need volunteers to helping direct traffic for more than 50 light displays.

What They Are About: GraceWorks exist to serve their neighbors in poverty, and walk alongside them through hard times. Everyone they serve is 250% or below federal poverty guidelines or experiencing situational poverty. They provide family support, special needs programs, instructional program, and hunger prevention.
Volunteer Opportunity: Serving Holiday Food Boxes
Description: The Holiday Food Box volunteer opportunity presents the unique opportunity to shop and deliver groceries for a family in need. GraceWorks provides a shopping list and a family to serve.

Volunteer Opportunity: GraceWorks Manger
Description: Each year, GraceWorks has an interactive shopping experience for families. Volunteer tasks will include setup, organizing, personal shopper, gift wrap, greeter, clean up, etc. Prayer Room Volunteers are needed as well. Prayer volunteers will pray with neighbors.

Organization: Nashville Rescue Mission
What They Are About: The Nashville Rescue Mission provides various emergency service programs and life recovery programs to providing hope for today, hope for tomorrow, and hope for eternity to the hungry, homeless, and hurting.
Volunteer Opportunity: Serving Dinner (ONLY FEMALE volunteers)
Description: The Nashville Rescue Mission is providing the opportunity to serve women from Life Recovery Program who have graduated from the program, working full time and/or going to school, and are transitioning back into life utilizing the tools given to them while in the program. On the evening of Dec. (10) at 6:30 pm volunteers will have the opportunity to serve dinner to the women in Transitional House and enjoy a brief (15 minute) devotion. There will be approximately 10 women in attendance. Volunteers are expected to arrive at 6:00 pm.

What They Are About: The Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home organization provides Christ-centered, nurturing homes for children in hard places across Tennessee through compassionate on-campus homes and foster families.They train and develop evangelical Christians to be houseparents and foster parents with the mission of not only providing safety and stability but showing Christ’s love to each child who comes into our care. Whether children are in foster care or have been voluntarily placed in one of their on-campus homes by families seeking help, they are committed to helping children and families thrive.
Volunteer Opportunity: Meal Train
Description: The Meal Train opportunity is a chance to serve on-campus families a meal on a specified evening. With families having 8-10 children in their care and various responsibilities (e.g. homework and various activities) serving families meals during this busy time is a huge blessing to the families being served.
How to Sign Up: The following families are in need of meals for several days throughout the month. The link will list the location of their home, contact information, the number of people in the family being served, a preferred delivery time, special instructions and dates to choose when to deliver.
