In the summer of 2013, we stepped out of our comfort zones, our jobs, and all the rest to build a city known for loving Jesus, loving the church, loving the world, loving service, and loving multiplication with the gospel—to join Jesus as he builds Redemption City (Rev. 21-22). Sensing God’s desire and leading to reach the 1.2 million people who make up our over-churched, but under-reached 1.6 million person population, we started having conversations, building relationships, and pointing people to Jesus with all of our might as we started Redemption City Church.
These gospel conversations led to gospel conversions, financial and prayer partners, and community–which led to our first worship gathering August 11, 2013 at Trinity Elementary School. Redemption City Church is made up of people from diverse backgrounds. We have people who have grown up in church and those that have never been a part of a church. We have people who have grown up in church, and those that have never been a part of a church. We have people in small groups that have never been a part of a small group. We have people who have never served in a church, serving. We have people who have never given financially to a church, giving. New believers have been baptized. Jesus is graciously working through Redemption City Church.
We would love to talk to you more about how you could lock arms with us as we build a city of people known for a loving Jesus, the church, the world, serving, and multiplication with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
