We’re just hours away from our 2nd Ever Monthly, Student Worship Night where we’ll gather together with students and leaders from all across the area to lift high the name of Jesus! Here are just 3 reasons I’m excited for this huge event.
I’m Excited To See Unity in the Gospel
Tonight we’ll be joining with three other churches and one other ministry to lift high the name of Jesus! Events like tonight remind us that we are not in competition against one another but united under the banner of the gospel asking for God to reach into the lives of the students here in Middle Tennessee for his glory and there good. Not only are we united across church lines but also ethnic, socioeconomic, and nationality lines as well. Students from all different walks of life, from all different schools, from all different places will join together tonight united by their deepest commonality, their need for Jesus. Would you pray that it would not be just tonight that we are unified in the gospel but through out the rest of the month we would realize the deepest bond we share with anyone is not the color of our skin, the neighborhood we come from, or the country of our families, but the love we find in the gospel, in Jesus.
I’m Excited To See New People
We are so excited to have Trinity Baptist Church and The Refuge Spring Hill back tonight and thrilled also to have Iglesia Bautista Las Americas Franklin and Franktown Open Hearts join us for the first time! We are so thankful for their ministry in Williamson County and all they do to share the life and love of Jesus with those in the area. Sharing this evening with more students from more places results in more joy in our hearts and more praise for our King! Join us in praying for our students and students from other groups to bring their friends to hear of the love Jesus has shown them.
I’m Excited To Worship our Lord Jesus Christ
What we are most excited about for this evening is the purpose of not just the event but our lives as a whole, to worship our creator and redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ! We are given the unique privilege in this unique place in this unique time to gather together publicly to sing of the joy and hope we have found in Jesus and proclaim his glory at the top of our lungs. Pray with us that our hands would be a reflection of our hearts not just tonight but through out everyday.
